The caps — 1,000 on Free, 10,000 on Plus and Pro — are abuse-prevention guardrails, not product limits. They exist to protect the platform from automated scripts and bad actors; normal use won’t come near them.
Destination storage is metered in credits rather than gigabytes to keep pricing intuitive. Credits cover the storage footprint of hosted destination content — images, video, documents, structured pages. Free includes 1,000, Plus 10,000, and Pro is unlimited.
Free destinations need a quick annual check-in. As a destination approaches the end of its one-year window we prompt you to confirm it’s still in use. If it isn’t confirmed, the destination goes dark: your QR code and NFC asset stay intact, but scans land on a page saying the destination is no longer active. On Plus and Pro, destinations stay live indefinitely.
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you like. Annual subscriptions are prorated and refunded if you cancel early.
Pro routes your codes and shareable links through your own domain — cards.acme.com instead of tactile.to — with SSL included, and removes TacTile branding entirely.
