Link Hub is a generic tile grid for any set of links — your site, shop, and social pages included. Contact Card is a structured vCard: name, title, company, phone, and email fields that save directly into someone's phone contacts app. Link Hub shares places to go; Contact Card shares who you are.

Can I switch from a Link Hub to a Contact Card later?

Yes. You can change a destination's type from the TacTile dashboard, though you'll need to re-enter the contact fields since a Link Hub doesn't store them. Your existing NFC tag or QR code keeps working — only the destination behind it changes.

Do I need a different physical card or tag for each link type?

No. Any TacTile-enabled card, tag, or QR code can point to any destination type, and you can repoint it at any time from the dashboard.

Which destination type is most popular for events?

Contact Card and Social Profiles both see heavy use at conferences and trade shows, since attendees are usually trying to either save a contact or follow someone's socials on the spot.

Can one destination combine a link hub and a contact card?

Not directly — they're separate destination types. Many people solve this by putting a Contact Card tile inside a Link Hub, or by linking to their Contact Card as one of the hub's tiles.

Is Social Profiles just a Link Hub with social icons?

No. Social Profiles uses recognizable native platform icons and deep-links into the actual app (opening Instagram itself, for example) rather than a browser. Link Hub is generic and app-agnostic by design.

What if I only have social media and no website?

Social Profiles is likely your best fit — it's built specifically for that case and needs no separate site to link to.
